My interest in photography has been primarily aimed at developing my skills to capture the magic moments of sailing events to assist with the promotion of sailing organisations on websites and in magazines on a voluntary basis.

As a result of the interest in some of these photos, I have during the last few years made a significant investment in camera, lenses and IT with a view to becoming semi-professional.

In July 2009 I launched a website at theimagefile where you can view some of my photos, email them to your friends and, if you wish, buy the digital images or purchase photos on a range of media.

Whilst my primary passion is sailing and organising sailing activities, I love to travel and have a large library of travel photographs associated with the many international sailing venues at which I have sailed or been involved with event organisation. In time, I hope to review, index and add some of the better images to my website. Also in recent years I have had pleasure in taking photographs at some family related weddings.
